Elena Ikonnikova, who creates wonders with artificial intelligence

How did the idea come about, and how did you start creating art using artificial intelligence?

Since childhood, I dreamed of a creative profession where I could unleash my potential. I always wanted to create something unique, whether it was images or videos. When I began exploring the possibilities of artificial intelligence, I realized this field perfectly combined my aspirations and skills. I developed my unique style, which helps me stand out among other creators. Artificial intelligence became a tool for me that opens up limitless horizons for creativity.

What inspires you when creating your works?

My own works inspire me. The process of creating a new project is a moment when I dive into a flow of ideas and find inspiration within the process itself. Each project becomes a source of energy and creative solutions for me.

How has your education and academic career in mathematics influenced your artistic work?

I have always been a creative person and dreamed of becoming a designer, but my education is in public administration. However, my field of study taught me how to organize business processes, which helps me structure my activities as a creator. This experience became an essential complement to my creative approach, allowing me to manage projects with maximum efficiency.

What brands have you collaborated with so far?

I have worked with a clothing brand from Switzerland, with Rufat Ismailov’s dress brand, and with a clothing brand from Dubai. Each of these projects was a unique experience, allowing me to create memorable visual content.

How did your collaboration with Aygun Kazimova begin? What styles are you focusing on in this process?

Our collaboration began through an introduction by Rufat Ismailov. We are working on creating a music video that will be released in February. Currently, we are carefully refining its style to achieve the perfect result.

How do you find a balance between the expectations of brands and your artistic freedom?

For me, the key is understanding the values and goals of the brand. I always start with a detailed analysis of their mission, audience, and objectives. This helps me find common ground between their expectations and my creative solutions. I view constraints as opportunities. They motivate me to find new creative approaches that enhance the brand while preserving my unique style. Balance is achieved through dialogue. I always discuss ideas with clients and explain how they will strengthen their message. The best results are born at the intersection of their expectations and my creativity.

Which of your projects interested you the most and why?

One of the most interesting projects for me was creating a visualization that demonstrated how AI art could look on the facade of the Burj Khalifa. This project combined elements of the real world, architectural structures, and digital art, creating a captivating vision of how technology could be integrated into the environment. Working on such a large-scale concept inspired me with new ideas and opened the door to further experiments.

Which brands or sectors do you plan to work with in the future?

I dream of collaborating with jewelry brands and luxury fashion houses. I am also interested in creating large-scale advertising campaigns and music videos that merge technology and art on a new level.

What advice would you give to those who want to learn how to work with AI in art?

My main advice is to always learn and grow. Follow your heart and don’t let doubts stop you. Even if someone says you won’t succeed, keep working, but do it with love. Art created with soul will always find its audience.
